PORT TOWNSEND -If small wooden watercraft float your boat, the 31st Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival is the right place to be this weekend.
“There are more small boats, less than 30 feet, than ever before,” said Kaci Cronkhite, Wooden Boat Festival director.
“We will have a record 112 vessels, not including all the kayaks and rowing shells.”
The festival will run from Thursday through Sunday at the newly renovated Hudson Point Marina.
The event drew more than 30,000 last year.
