SEKIU — Single-lane alternating traffic will begin today at milepost 6.55 on state Highway 113.
Flaggers will alternate traffic through the work zone as crews cut a temporary access road, clean up hillside debris, identify a clogged culvert and temporarily relocate the channel below, DOT said late Tuesday.
Work will take place each Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Feb. 25.
Delays of up to 15 minutes can be expected as heavy machinery enters and exits the work zone.
This work is separate from the emergency contracts underway along state Highway 112 in two locations due to landslides at Clallam Bay and Jim Creek.
