An observation deck, access to the Port Angeles Waterfront Trail and other amenities may make a new park being constructed at the foot of Francis Street a popular attraction.
Construction of the park is continuing this week, city officials said. The project is slated for completion in October.
Primo Construction of Sequim was awarded the $338,000 contract in May to improve the two-acre site.
