FORKS — Electrical power has been restored to some 3,300 customers after a car hit a power pole near Forks this morning, Clallam Public Utility District said.
Power was restored to all customers just before 4 p.m. after the outage that began at 11:45 a.m., said Michael Howe, Clallam PUD spokesman.
Both State Patrol and Forks Fire Department representatives said they responded to the wreck.
The State Patrol said the wreck is at milepost 195 on U.S. Highway 101.
No other information on the wreck was available as of 4:30 p.m.
Traffic was reduced to a single lane until 1:38 pm., when the highway was reopened, the state Department of Transportation said.
