SHINE — A two-car wreck Monday afternoon on state Highway 104 sent both drivers to the hospital and stalled traffic on the west side of the Hood Canal Bridge for two hours.
According to a news release from Port Ludlow Fire & Rescue, a Chevrolet truck was attempting to cross the highway from Paradise Bay Road to Shine Road and struck a Volvo in the westbound lane of Highway 104.
Both drivers, who were not identified, suffered minor injuries and were transported to Jefferson Healthcare.
Port Ludlow Fire & Rescue, Washington State Patrol and the Poulsbo Fire Department responded to the wreck.
The state Department of Transportation was also on scene and assisted with traffic control.
