PORT TOWNSEND — “Life Behind Barbed Wire: My Mother’s Story” is the presentation of a U.S. citizen’s experience in a Japanese-American internment camp during World War II, delivered by Joanne Murayama at Chameleon Theater, 880 W. Park Ave., from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 8).
The event is open to the public.
The cost is $5, and reservations are suggested.
Photographs and a memory quilt crafted by Michi Murayama, mother of the presenter, will be part of the event.
