He dishonors the flag under which he and fellow black players earn millions of dollars.
As an immigrant and a proud citizen for over 50 years, I find it shameful that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and those following his example would dishonor the flag under which he and thousands of African-American sports and entertainment figures have earned millions of dollars, enabling them to live a life unimagined in most countries of the world.
By his actions, he is in effect honoring the bad apples of our society.
