AREA SPORTS BRIEFS: Moss wins another MVP

NEAH BAY — The accolades keep rolling in for Neah Bay’s Ryana Moss.

Moss, a two-time state champion basketball player for Neah Bay, has already been selected the North Olympic League MVP and as a member of the all-state 1B girls basketball team.

She was named the MVP of the all-state basketball game held this weekend after scoring 20 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.

The Washington State Girls Basketball Coaches Association named Mount Vernon Christian’s Allie Heino as the 1B girls MVP for the entire season. However, after a review of the votes, the association later discovered that Moss and Heino had the same number of votes so they were named co-MVPs of 1B girls basketball.
