Forks hosting 3 on 3 hoops tourney over Fourth of July weekend

PAHS youth basketball camp set for June 20-23

PORT ANGELES — Boys entering grades three through eight in the 2022-23 school year are eligible for the Port Angeles Youth Boys Summer Basketball Camp set June 20-23.

The camp is a fundraiser for the Port Angeles High School Boys Basketball program.

Campers will meet at the Port Angeles High School gym with those in third through fifth grade attending from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. each day. Registration for these grade levels will run from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. June 20.

Players in sixth through eighth grade will register at 11 a.m. on June 20 and will train from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.

The cost is $60 per player and includes a camp T-shirt, games, contests, instruction and more.

3 on 3 tourney slated in Forks

FORKS — A 3 on 3 basketball tournament will be held July 2 as part of Forks’ Old-Fashioned Fourth of July celebrations.

The tournament will be held at the Tilicum Park courts or inside Spartan Gym if it rains.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m.

There will be separate boys and girls divisions for players in sixth through eighth grades and for high schoolers.

Tournament winners will receive a T-shirt.

The entry fee is $10 per player, with a maximum of four players per team.

Proceeds benefit the Forks High School boys and girls basketball programs.
