Sequim senior golfer Alex McMenamin has started where she left off last season, when she finished fifth in the state in the state 2A girls golf championship.
McMenamin has been the medalist in seven out of eight matches this season. One of her best rounds was a 4-under par 32 on April 12 against Port Angeles. She is also under par for the entire season.
McMenamin has finished in the top 10 of the girls state championship for three straight years (she finished ninth in 2015 and third as a freshman in 2014) and she will be looking to place again for a fourth straight year this May.
