Colin Feik played a role in every goal in Sequim’s 4-1 boys’ soccer victory over Olympic last week.
It seems like in every win for the Wolves this year, a different player shines. On Friday night, it was Feik’s turn.
Feik scored one goal and had three assists in the victory, which gave Sequim a 3-2 record in the Olympic League, tied with Port Angeles for third place. His goal was unassisted as he beat the Olympic goalkeeper on a shot from 25 yards out.
Feik and his teammates have a couple of big games coming up, the first Friday night at North Kitsap, which is unbeaten in the Olympic League. On April 8, it will be the much-awaited showdown with a resurgent Port Angeles team, which is also 3-2 in the Olympic League, at Wally Sigmar Field at Peninsula College. That game will be crucial for potential playoff positioning as the two Olympic Peninsula teams will battle for third place because of powerhouses North Kitsap and Bainbridge.
