Port Angeles’ Felicia Che is having a dominating season for the Roughriders girls swim team.

Che has been a double-event winner five times already this season, with a total of 11 individual first-places finishes.

Added to that, she has also helped eight Roughrider relay teams win their events. That’s a total of 19 first-place finishes on the season for Che.

And Che isn’t specializing in one or two events. She has won sprints (50-yard freestyle) and distance events (500 freestyle) and in a variety of strokes (100 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 200 individual medley).

Che has already qualified for hte state 2A meet in the 200 individual medley, the 100 butterfly, the 500 freestyle and as a member of three Roughrider relay teams (the 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay and the 400 freestyle relay).

Che and the Riders will be looking to do a lot of damage a the league, district and state meets coming up in November.
