The Sequim girls are off to a hot start this season and their talented post player Jayla Julmist has been a big part of it.
Julmist recorded a pair of double-doubles in the Wolves’ 73-17 win over Klahowya on Dec. 2 and their 86-63 win over Neah Bay on Wednesday.
Julmist scored 15 points and hauled down 17 boards in the Klahowya game and had 18 points and 10 rebounds against the Red Devils. She added five assists in that game.
Julmist is averaging 16.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game so far this season and showing that she will be a force to be reckoned with when Olympic League 2A Division play begins this Wednesday.
