Kaiden Parcher has had a great stretch for the Port Townsend Redhawks, as he is one of the big reasons his team has won four straight and five out of its last six.

Parcher, who carries much of the ball-handling for the Redhawks, nearly had a triple-double in a win Friday against Kingston, leading the Redhawks with 16 points, eight boards and seven assists. Against Coupeville on Jan. 9, he had 16 points and nine rebounds. And against Chimacum on Jan. 5, he had 20 points. All three of those games were wins.

That’s a scoring average 17.3 over his past three games.

Athlete of the Week is brought to you by the sports department at the Peninsula Daily News along with the sponsorship of Swain’s General Store serving Clallam and Jefferson counties since 1957.
