Taig Wiker had a monster game to help undefeated Sequim fend off Olympic last week to remain in first place in the Olympic League 2A Division.
As a running back, Wiker rushed the ball 36 times for 262 yards (an average of 7.3 yards per rush) and scored a two-yard touchdown and a 19-yard touchdown. If that wasn’t enough, he also intercepted two passes playing safety on the defensive side of the ball as the Wolves won 28-9.
Wiker and the first-place Wolves host second-place Port Angeles Friday night in a Rainshadow Rivalry game.
