ATHLETES OF THE WEEK: Hayden Baker and Hayden Queen, Forks wrestlers

The Haydens of the Forks wrestling team have been so strong this year that it was difficult to pick just one. So, we picked both.

Hayden Baker at 170 pounds and Hayden Queen at 182 pounds have been powerhouses for the Spartans this season.

Baker won six out of seven matches at this weekend’s Dream Duals in Spokane. Meanwhile, Queen won three out of four matches at the same event. Baker is 30-5 on the season, while Queen is 28-5.

So far this season, Queen has taken first at the Sgt. Norton Memorial Tournament, won his weight division at the Island Invitational on Bainbridge and finished second at the Granger Invite.

Baker won his weight division at the Granger Invite and finished second at the Hammerhead Invite and the Sgt. Norton Tournament.

Watch for both of these wrestlers to make plenty of noise in the postseason and place at the upcoming Mat Classic in February.
