PORT ANGELES — The Peninsula College men’s basketball team’s alumni game set for Saturday night has been downgraded to a scrimmage, athletic director Rick Ross announced.
“We did not have enough alumni that were able to come, so coach [Mitch] Freeman is working to put together a scrimmage against a team made up of some alumni and other local players,” Ross said.
“At this point, he is still desiring to have NWAACC officials call the game to prepare his team for Tuesday’s opener against Clark.”
The scrimmage will take place at 7 p.m.
Admission is free.
