SEQUIM — The 27th annual Hurricane Ridge Kennel Club Dog Show will take place at the Carrie Blake Ballfields from Friday to Sunday.
More than 600 dogs are entered in the show each day. The event will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
There will be a food truck on site and several vendors selling dog-related items at the show. Admission is free, but parking is $5 per day.
In addition to the dog judging, there are trick dog tests Saturday and a canine good citizen test Sunday.
The schedule is:
Friday
• Conformation show — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Rally and obedience — 9 a.m. to noon
• FastCAT (lure coursing) — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• 4- to 6-month puppy competition — 1:15 p.m.
• OFA eye clinic with Dr. Nathan Kice — 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $40 a dog.
Saturday
• Conformation show — 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Rally and obedience — 8 a.m. to noon
• FastCAT (lure coursing) — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• 4- to 6-month puppy competition — 12:30 p.m.
• AKC trick dog testing — 1:30 p.m.
Sunday
• Conformation show — 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Rally and obedience — 8 a.m. to noon
• FastCAT (lure coursing) — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• AKC canine good citizen test — 1:30 p.m.
