The postseason destinations for North Olympic Peninsula high school teams are nearly all set.
The Sequim boys basketball team, ranked No. 8 in the final Associated Press 2A poll, beat Port Townsend Thursday night, 64-32, to clinch a share of the Olympic League championship.
On Friday night, the Olympic Trojans made the co-championship official by defeating Port Angeles 83-52.
Although they will share the league title, the Wolves and the Trojans will play a tiebreaker game Monday night at North Kitsap High School to determine who gets the Olympic League’s top seed in next week’s 2A West Central District tournament.
Earning the No. 1 seed means a first-round bye, automatic advancement to the double-elimination portion of the district tournament and not playing until Friday.
The loser of the Monday’s game will play a loser-out game in Tacoma on Wednesday.
