The postseason destinations for North Olympic Peninsula high school teams are nearly all set.
The Sequim boys basketball team, ranked No. 8 in the final Associated Press 2A poll, beat Port Townsend Thursday night, 64-32, to clinch a share of the Olympic League championship.
On Friday night, the Olympic Trojans made the co-championship official by defeating Port Angeles 83-52.
Although they will share the league title, the Wolves and the Trojans will play a tiebreaker game Monday night at North Kitsap High School to determine who gets the Olympic League’s top seed in next week’s 2A West Central District tournament.
Earning the No. 1 seed means a first-round bye, automatic advancement to the double-elimination portion of the district tournament and not playing until Friday.
The loser of the Monday’s game will play a loser-out game in Tacoma on Wednesday.
Saturday’s games
Five area basketball teams have postseason games Saturday.
The Forks boys go for their first win over Tenino in three tries in a loser-out game in the 1A District IV tournament at 1:30 p.m. at W.F. West High School in Chehalis. The Spartans lost to Toledo, 58-35, on Thursday night, while the Beavers fell to Woodland, 36-34.

The winner of both games will face Neah Bay on Tuesday at Crescent High School.
Port Townsend, meanwhile, is hosting two play-in games for the 1A tri-district tournament. The boys play Seattle Christian at 5:15 p.m., and the girls face Charles Wright at 7 p.m.
The Redskins girls beat Sequim 34-30 Thursday night to end the Wolves’ late-season playoff push.
The Port Angeles girls, who wrapped up the Olympic League title earlier this, beat Olympic 38-35 Friday night.
The Roughriders have a first-round bye in next week’s 2A West Central District tournament. Their first game will be Thursday night at Foss High School.
