HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Sequim holds off Klahowya; other prep football results

SEQUIM — Sequim stopped Klahowya on fourth and goal from the 11 yard line with seven seconds remaining to earn its first win of the season 37-32.

The Wolves took the lead on a 13-yard touchdown pass from Jack Wiker to Christian Miles with 2:05 left in the game. The Eagles marched down the field and reached the Sequim seven yard line with 26 seconds remaining, but were unable to reach the end zone.

Sequim led 31-13 going into the fourth quarter, but the Eagles quickly cut the lead to six points with two touchdowns in 15 seconds.

Klahowya then took the lead, 32-31 on a touchdown pass from Jacob Sheets to Grady Bashore with 8:45 to play.
