Brody Kato, normally one of the Lefties’ catchers, got the win, pitching three innings and giving up two earned runs on three hits. Mitchell Hagan also pitched a scoreless inning with a strikeout.
Kitsap is part of the Pacific International League and so the game and the statistics don’t count toward West Coast League stats and standings.
The Lefties (16-27, 6-10 in the second half) played Kitsap on Sunday after press deadline. They have an off day today, then host Wenatchee at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday. The Lefties have six home games left.
