SEATTLE — Washington has a football schedule — again.

The Pac-12 released its new seven-game 2020 schedules on Saturday morning. After deciding in August to postpone all competitions until the end of 2020, the conference reversed course last week thanks to a partnership with Quidel Corp. that will provide daily, point-of-care COVID-19 testing.

This is the second version of the Pac-12’s conference-only slate. In July — before the CEO Group voted to suspend play — the Pac-12 released a 10-game slate that was supposed to open on Sept. 26.

In the third (and presumably) final version of the 2020 schedule, the Huskies will open at Cal on Nov. 7.

UW will then play back-to-back home games against Oregon State on Nov. 14 and Arizona on Nov. 21. In a small piece of normalcy, the Huskies will travel to Washington State for the Apple Cup the day after Thanksgiving (Friday, Nov. 26). They will then face Stanford at home on Nov. 5 before traveling to Oregon on Nov. 12.

Washington State will open the season at Oregon State on Nov. 7. The Cougars will then play Oregon at home on Nov. 14 and Stanford on the road on Nov. 21. They will follow the Apple Cup with another Friday game at USC (Dec. 4) before hosting Cal (Dec. 12).

The final game of the season will be determined at a later date . Teams will either play for the Pac-12 championship on Dec. 18 or a seeded seeded game against a cross-divisional opponent on Dec. 19. The championship game will be home-hosted this season with the scheduled two-year run at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas now beginning in 2021.

The Pac-12 season will open on Nov. 7 at 9 a.m. PST with Arizona State at USC. Each team will play five divisional games and one crossover game against a non-divisional opponent. The six games are evenly distributed between home and away.

“The schedule announced today is highlighted by exciting and tough matchups that will showcase the depth of our Conference and position our teams well for CFP consideration and postseason Bowl opportunities,” Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott said in a release. “Importantly, our return to football competition will continue to place the health and safety of our student-athletes and all those connected to Pac-12 football as the highest priority.”

No fans will be permitted at competitions taking place on Pac-12 campuses.

Every game through the first six weeks of the season will be televised nationally by a combination of ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, Fox and FS1. Fox will televise the Football Championship game on Friday, Dec. 18. The exact broadcast schedules will be determined at a later date.
