The first-year Port Angeles bowling team picked up a second-place finish at the Olympic League Tournament on Thursday at All-Star Lanes in Silverdale. The first-year Port Angeles bowling team picked up a second-place finish at the Olympic League Tournament on Thursday at All-Star Lanes in Silverdale. The first-place Elks Hoop Shoot Winners from the city championships held this weekend at the Vern Burton Gym receive tehir trophies. From left, they are Levi Simoneau, 11, from Franklin Elementary School, who shot 18 out of 25 to win the boys 10-11 age group; Logan Wasnock, 8, from Jefferson Elementary, who shot 13 out of 25 to win the boys 8-9 age group; and Lillian Wasnock, 11, from Jefferson Elementary, who shot 10 out of 25 to win the girls 10-11 age group. The first-place Elks Hoop Shoot Winners from the city championships held this weekend at the Vern Burton Gym receive tehir trophies.
