FORKS — The Spartan boys basketball squad remained undefeated on the season, getting out to a 21-0 lead and cruising to an easy 72-17 win over an outmatched Class 1B Lake Quinault team.

Marky Adams scored 15 points, while Jeffrey Schumack scored 14 and Austin Flores had 12 in Tuesday’s win.

“Everyone got to play and everyone worked hard,” said Forks coach Rick Gooding.

“It was nice to see different guys score and that some different guys can step up and score when we need them to,” Gooding said. He said Lake Quinault was a very young team and they didn’t get their heads down in a tough loss.

Forks is now 4-0 on the season. The Spartans are scheduled to host Chimacum at 7 p.m. Friday, pending weather conditions.
