SEQUIM — In a match that started close, the Sequim volleyball girls put it together to win their last three games by wide margins to take Port Angeles 3-1.

Sequim coach Jennie Webber-Heilman said her team had some fatigue from a weekend tournament and several players were fighting colds. The team started slowly dealing with new rotations. Breckenridge responded with eight kills, 10 digs, four aces and five blocks. Julmist, playing her first varsity match, responded with five stuff blocks, and three aces while serving 17 for 19. It appears she earned herself a promotion with her performance.

“I’m stealing her from JV,” said Webber-Heilman.

Grittney Gale, a setter, had seven kills to go along iwth six assists and nine digs. She served 16 for 17. Kalli Wiker had 11 assists and three kills and Isabelle Dennis had 12 digs, served 15 for 17 and had nine perfect passes. Bobbi Sparks added 12 digs.
