FORKS — The Forks girls soccer team got a hat trick from Miley Blanton in winning its first game of the year 4-0 over Ilwaco.

He said freshman goalkeeper Pearl Salazar had her best game of the year in earning the shutout victory.
“That was her best game yet. She is becoming more confident. It’s really cool to watch her grow,” Ramos said.
Ramos also said the Spartans’ defense was stellar, led by Lillianna Galeana and Katelynn Wallerstedt.
