PREPS: Dearinger’s 3-run double does the job for Sequim

SEQUIM — Devyn Dearinger’s bases-clearing two-out double capped a six-run comeback and lifted Sequim to an eventual 8-7 victory over North Mason at home in an Olympic League baseball game Wednesday.

Dearinger’s two-out double to left field, his second double of the game, drove in Bryant LaBoy, Braydan White who reached via singles earlier in the inning and Ethan Staples, who drew a two-out walk to keep the inning alive.

White closed out the game, getting past giving up a two-out double and hitting a batter in the sixth and allowing a seventh-inning single before striking out North Mason’s James Ringstad to end the game.

The Wolves trailed 7-1 after the top of the fourth before rallying.
