Oregon State wrestlers leading Forks camp
FORKS — Oregon State wrestling head coach Chris Pendleton and several of his NCAA Division I wrestlers will lead the Dam Wrestling Camp at Forks High School on July 20-22.
Forks Athletic Director Kyle Weakley said Spartans grapplers “are incredibly fortunate” to learn from Oregon State athletes and coaches.
There will be group sessions each day: a youth camp for younger kids from 9 a.m. to noon, while older wrestlers will attend from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Spartans head wrestling coach Daniel Frishkorn and Pendleton have a special connection, having competed alongside each other as grapplers at Oklahoma State University.
“This connection has undoubtedly played a role in bringing this incredible opportunity to our small community,” Weakley said.
The cost is $100 per athlete. Send check or money order to: Rain of Terror, P.O. Box 2603, Forks, WA 98331.
