SEQUIM — The Dungeness Valley Health and Wellness Clinic-The Sequim Free Clinic will hold its 13th annual Fun Walk at 9 a.m. Saturday, September 9, starting at Trinity United Methodist Church at 100 Blake Ave. in Sequim.

This year, the course will be a 5K Fun Walk. For people who usually walk the one-mile course, they still can.

People can now register online. Go to the clinic’s website (www.sequimfreeclinic.org) and click on the events page for more information. Otherwise, registration ($10 per adult, free for those 12 and under) opens at 8 a.m. for individuals, families and teams who choose to walk or run course through Carrie Blake Park, the Water Reuse Demonstration Site and a part of the Olympic Discovery Trail. All pets must be leashed on the walk.

When you come to the Fun Walk this year, take a few moments to visit the clinic’s “Health Fair”. There will be screening for blood pressure, blood sugar and oxygen saturation. Become familiar with the AED (defibrillator) and learn about disaster preparedness.

Through the participation of various specialist departments from the Olympic Medical Center, a variety of health and wellness information and services also will be available.
