PORT ANGELES — Four players scored in double figures to spark the Port Angeles High School girls basketball team to a Martin Luther King Jr. Day nonleague victory over Emerald Ridge on Monday.
Trisha Buckingham and Brooke Helpenstell led the Roughriders with 11 points each while Sarah Bussell and Brianna Allen sank 10 apiece in the well-balanced attack.
Port Angeles, which led 18-9 at the end at the first quarter and 26-17 at halftime, improves to 9-3 overall. The Riders are 5-1 in the Narrows League.
