PORT ANGELES — Port Angeles’ baseball team scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat archrival Sequim 5-3 and earn at least second place in the Olympic League on Tuesday.
The Roughriders prevailed in the makeup game on a miserable cold and wet afternoon.
Port Angeles finishes the regular season with a 11-5 league record and can tie North Kitsap for first if Olympic upsets the Vikings in their final game Tuesday.
Sequim, meanwhile, falls into a logjam at third place at 9-7.
The top five 2A teams in league advance to the sub-district playoffs Friday.
