Sports: Sequim loses in basketball playoffs

FEDERAL WAY — Mount Rainier came back in the second half to end the season for Sequim in the Class 2A West Central District boys basketball playoffs Thursday night at Todd Beamer High School.

The Rams (17-3) beat the Wolves (18-6) 66-54.

Sequim had a 29-22 lead at halftime but Mount Rainier outscored the Nisqually League team 44-25 in the second half to run away with the win.
