PORT ANGELES — Wilder Baseball’s senior and junior teams will play today [Sunday] in the final games of the 16th annual Dick Brown Memorial Firecracker Classic.
The senior team made it through pool play unscathed by winning both of its games Saturday, beating Klahowya 8-1 and Oak Harbor 10-2.
Wilder (4-0) faces Oak Harbor (3-1) again in today’s championship game at 4 p.m. at Civic Field.
Wilder Junior, meanwhile, defeated Klahowya on Saturday afternoon to earn its first win of the tournament and claim a spot in today’s third-place game at 1 p.m.
Wilder Junior (1-3) will be playing Sandberg (2-2), which is coached by former Wilder player Eric Lane.
Sandberg topped Wilder 6-5 in the Firecracker Classic’s opening game on Thursday.
